Applies to: This publication applies to all civilian and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve (AFR) and Air National Guard (ANG), and those who are contractually obligated to comply with Department of the Air Force (DAF) publications.
Numerous changes include but are not limited to 1) the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders within the Air Advisor enterprise, 2) the establishment of a two-star lead for Air Advisors and Security Force Assistance, 3) modifications to training requirements for Air Force personnel executing Operational Air Advising, 4) the establishment of a new classification identifier for air advisors and 5) updated qualifications for wear of the Air Advisor Tabs.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
