AFI10-2607 addresses CBR contamination survivability, nuclear survivability, mission-critical systems, infrastructure, and life-cycle considerations. It requires survivability to be supported through hardening, timely resupply, redundancy, mitigation, or a combination of these measures.
CBRN Survivability consists of CBR contamination survivability and nuclear survivability. (paragraph 1)
The Air Force addresses CBRN survivability by identifying mission-critical systems and infrastructure required to survive and/or operate in CBRN environments and ensuring their availability through hardening, timely resupply, redundancy, mitigation (i.e., tactics, techniques, and procedures), or a combination thereof.
