The publication addresses COOP events, mission essential functions, orders of succession, alternate work sites, vital records, communications, and reconstitution. It requires classification controls, trained personnel, mitigation strategies, accountability, reporting, and subordinate-unit tasks.
Applies to: This supplement applies to all Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) units.
COOP Plans will be classified in accordance with the DoD Defense Continuity Program (DCP) Security Classification Guide.
Disseminate the information contained in this plan only to those agencies and personnel whose official duties specifically require knowledge of this COOP Plan.
The (unit’s name)/CC is responsible for unit COOP execution. (paragraph 6)
Designated COOP key and emergency staff will be trained in accordance with AFI 10-208. (paragraph 10-208)
MEF personnel will be trained to perform their MEF critical supporting tasks in accordance with their specialty code. (paragraph 10-208)
