Applies to: This instruction applies to all Air Education and Training Command (AETC) civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force and the Regular Space Force.
The purpose of this program is to recognize individual and group outstanding performance, stimulate competition, increase mission effectiveness, emphasize individual and organizational teamwork award programs, improve morale, and sustain AETC's commitment to excellence. (paragraph 1)
Tables identifying award programs managed by HQ AETC Directorates, Chiefs of Special Staff (CSS), 2 AF, 19 AF, AFAC, and AU are included at Attachment 2. (paragraph 2)
Manages and implements the Special Trophies and Awards (ST&A) Program for AETC. (paragraph 3)
Annually, develops and publishes a monthly board member rotation schedule for Directorates and CSSs. (paragraph 3)
Uses the Task Management Tool (ETMS2) to solicit nominations from AETC Wings, NAFs, AU, AFAC, DRUs, Directorates and CSSs. (paragraph 3)
