The publication covers CSI training programs, qualification and certification, go/no-go procedures, academic instruction, and F-22 replication upgrades. It requires individual training plans, documented certifications, program reviews, and qualification and currency checks before scheduled events.

FLUG rides may only be conducted during IABM CT or IQT. (paragraph 8)
Following the successful completion of each training program, the CSI flight commander will update (as applicable) the CSI’s AF Form 4348, AF Form 942 and AF Form 4324; as well as the Letter of Xs (LoX), and route the training folder to the 337 ACS/CC for review and signature.
An “individual training plan” will be forwarded for 337 ACS/CC for signature then maintained in the CSI’s training folder until all requirements are accomplished and the CSI is certified on an AF Form 4348.
The Initial Qualification Training (IQT) program will be IAW HQ AETC syllabus. (paragraph 8)
Ultimately, individual CSIs are responsible for ensuring they are current and qualified for scheduled events IAW paragraph 1.4.6.3. (paragraph 8)
