The publication addresses simulator instructor qualifications, certifications, training, evaluations, records, and go/no-go procedures. It requires specified documentation in G/TIMS, ARMS, and related forms, and establishes local waiver and evaluation requirements.
Applies to: It applies to commanders, military instructor pilots, civilian supervisors, and civilian simulator and academic instructors assigned/attached to the 47th Operations Group, including reservists.
47 OG/CC is the waiver authority for all compliance items unless they are derived from the other publications in which case the waiver authority listed in parent publication will be used.
The LoX should contain (as a minimum) the following certifications/qualifications: Qualified CSI, Academic Instructor (AI), Instructor CSI (ICSI), and CSI Evaluator (CSIE).
CSI training personnel will use the G/TIMS certification tab in lieu of the AF Form 4348.
Academic Instructors are only authorized to teach classroom material specifically certified for on the G/TIMS Certification Tab. (paragraph 2)
FE upgrade training will be documented via the 47 OG CSI Examiner Certification Checklist located on the 47 OG/OGV SharePoint. (paragraph 2)
