It describes the squadron’s support for command and control, continuity of operations, data backup, reach-back, and enterprise activities. It establishes the squadron’s reporting relationship and assigns responsibilities for operational support, network security, training, and facilities.
The mission of the 700 ASUS is to provide persistent enterprise services to improve and integrate warfighter capability across Air Components and their joint or coalition partners across the globe. (paragraph 1)
The 700 ASUS is a Primary Subordinate Unit reporting directly to Commander Air Combat Command (COMACC). (paragraph 2)
The 700 ASUS Commander shall provide support to operational-level C2 organizations within Air Components defined as Geographic AOCs, Functional AOCs, Operation OCs, AFFOR staffs, aligned and supporting Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard equivalent organizations, and other Air Component enterprise agencies. (paragraph 3)
Provide resilient, secure, and redundant storage for real-time data back-up. (paragraph 3)
In coordination with ACC/A3C and 505 Command and Control Wing (CCW), provide a US-only (non-foreign partners) baseline operational AOC Weapon System to support Air Component annual training requirements. (paragraph 3)
