Applies to: This publication applies to all E-9 aircrew under ACC authority, including Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard personnel that operate E-9 aircraft.
The grading criteria in this chapter are divided into three sections: General, Instrument, and Mission. (paragraph 1)
FEs will use the evaluation criteria contained in Chapter 3 for conducting all flight and Emergency Procedures Evaluations (EPEs).
UHF relay may be verbally evaluated if not scheduled.
TM collection may be simulated in flight. (paragraph 4)
A circling approach is only required and will be accomplished in lieu of a VFR pattern when it is not available due to weather. (paragraph 5)
