ACCI11-270 addresses OMD approval, funding, operating instructions, security policy and use, limitations, training, flight operations, and abnormal and emergency procedures. It requires compliance with prescribed processes and identifies waiver procedures and approval authorities.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all Air Combat Command (ACC) flying units, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard flying units.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items. (paragraph 90-161)
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
