To promote a vigorous mishap prevention program by providing an incentive through recognition for active individual/unit support and participation. (paragraph 1)
The awards recipient will receive a plaque presented during the January unit training assembly (UTA). (paragraph 2)
Awarded to a civilian employee or military person of the 939th Air Refueling Wing who made a significant contribution to the wing's safety program. (paragraph 2)
Unit commanders, functional managers, and supervisors are responsible for submitting nominations to 939 ARW/SE prior to the end of each fiscal year (30 SEP). (paragraph 2)
Units will be judged for selection based upon safety program evaluation results, safety facility inspection results, mishap rates, and other pertinent factors. (paragraph 2)
