Training areas will be comprised of a minimum of three distinctive zones: Unsafe Zone, Semi-Safe Zone, and Safe Zone. (paragraph 4)
Personnel in this area are required to wear all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, until the range is certified ‘Cold’. (paragraph 4)
Personnel using dye-marking cartridges do not have to be qualified on the weapon used during training. (paragraph 4)
Only approved marking ammunition and properly modified weapons are authorized for use in the training area.
Do not reuse cartridges that have been jammed in a weapon.
