Applies to: This instruction establishes procedures for the local awards program and applies to all personnel assigned to the 439th Airlift Wing (439 AW) at Westover.
Personnel are eligible to compete in the category in which they held a grade for greater than six months during the award cycle. (paragraph 3)
Group points of contact are responsible to review packages for the following disqualifying items that would include: 4.1.1. Individuals with open unfavorable information file (UIF). (paragraph 3)
Packages that are incomplete, incorrect according to instructions or submitted after the deadline, will not be boarded. (paragraph 3)
Each Performance Statement will be a standalone sentence that includes (1) action and (2) at least one of the following: impact or result/outcome. (paragraph 5)
Officer and Civilian annual award packages will be submitted via snowflake and include only the AF Form 1206. (paragraph 3)
