Applies to: This publication applies to the 354 FW and Air National Guard or US Air Force Reserve under the 354 FW control.
Passing grade is 85 percent and the test is correctable to 100 percent. (paragraph 1)
The normal FCF aircraft configuration is clean, requires that all pylons be removed (wing-tip launchers installed) and full internal fuel unless unique troubleshooting circumstances dictate. (paragraph 3)
Aircraft requiring full FCF profiles must complete the entire profile to be released. (paragraph 2)
Do not release an aircraft from an FCF that has problems with the primary aircraft systems, such as those affecting engines; flight controls; landing gear; and those systems affecting the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) capability of the aircraft (i.e., pitot static; compasses; attitude references; air data computers; etc.). (paragraph 2)
An OCF will be conducted any time a commander determines a confidence flight is required to ensure maintenance action effectiveness or system reliability.
