Never wear loose clothing or jewelry around rotating machinery. Always wear gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protectors when operating the cutting and grooving machine. (paragraph 1-5)
Always disconnect the machine from the power supply when mounting or removing the cutting and grooving machine. (paragraph 1-5)
At no time should the deflection of the pipe/elbow joints in an expansion device exceed 4-degrees. (paragraph 4-10)
When installing gap-crossing material, ensure that the bottom of the pipeline is at least 2 feet (60.96-centimeters) above the high-water mark. (paragraph 4-34)
Pumps must be positioned for access to allow for replacement during operation if necessary. (paragraph 5-10)
