TC 3-11.20 covers CVT strategy, training frequency, evaluation guidance, decertification, and individual through company-level tasks. It requires task proficiency to be assessed and uses training events, external evaluations, and task crosswalks to support readiness.

Nuclear, biological, chemical reconnaissance vehicle (NBCRV) crews are decertified 12 months after execution of a gunnery qualification and execution of a platoon MRE/EXEVAL. (paragraph 1-14)
