TC 3-04.1-6 governs aeromedical training and physiological responses affecting Army Aviation crewmembers.

It covers altitude physiology, stress and fatigue, gravitational forces, toxic hazards, vision, spatial disorientation, and oxygen equipment. It requires specified training for crewmembers and establishes requirements for refresher training, chamber exercises, and decompression response.

The training must be conducted once a year. (paragraph 1-11)
The following subjects provide minimum training requirements for the unit to reach adequate safety and efficiency in the aviation environment: Altitude physiology. Spatial disorientation. Aviation protective equipment. Stress, fatigue, and exogenous factors. (paragraph 1-11)
The commander must include all crewmembers in the unit aeromedical training program. (paragraph 1-14)
Army fixed-wing (FW) and rotary-wing (RW) rated and nonrated crewmembers who fly in pressurized aircraft, or in aircraft that routinely exceed 10,000 feet mean sea level (MSL), or Army military free fall (MFF)/high altitude parachutists (HAPs) on order for high altitude low opening parachute operations (HALO)/Special Operations must complete aeromedical refresher training every 5 years. All crewmembers and passengers must breathe supplemental O2 after cabin decompression occurs. (paragraph 10-40)
