Commanders, trainers, and Soldiers should use the STP to plan, conduct, and evaluate individual training in units. (paragraph 1-1)
Every Soldier, noncommissioned officer (NCO), and officer has one primary mission-to be trained and ready to fight and win our nations wars. (paragraph 1-2)
Based on these guidelines, commanders and unit trainers must tailor the information to meet the requirements for their specific unit. (paragraph 7-0)
