PAM 405-45 covers installation reporting, real property records, construction types, ownership codes, and data element tables. It requires installations to maintain valid records and report facilities and transfers using specified documentation.
Applies to: All real property located within the boundaries of an installation must be reported on the Real Property Inventory (RPI) with appropriate ownership code.
In those cases when an installation is located in more than one state, the portion located in each state will be treated as a separate installation with a separate installation number and submitted as a separate installation. (paragraph 2-1)
Newly constructed facilities will be reported at the end of the reporting period in which they become documented by transfer on DD Form 1354 (Transfer and Acceptance of Military Real Property). (paragraph 2-1)
Reporting installations will create valid installation records before the input of real property facility data. (paragraph 2-1)
Facilities designed and constructed to serve a life expectancy of 5 years or less. (paragraph 2-3)
In no case will temporary facilities ever be upgraded to permanent status. (paragraph 2-3)
