What is the intent of Army pre-positioned stocks?
The intent of APS is to provide rapid issuance of materiel to support contingency operations. (paragraph 1-5)
Who must purchase stock-funded items issued from APS?
APS are national assets owned by DA, and when issued, stock-funded items stored in APS are required to be purchased by the receiving Army forces. (paragraph 4-1)
