What happens when a Soldier is under investigation for a Type I, II, or III offense?

The removal authority must immediately suspend and temporarily reassign a Soldier serving in a designated position upon notification that the Soldier is under investigation for a Type I, II, or III offense, or upon notification of adverse information that the Soldier has committed an offense listed in enclosure 6.
