How must classified contracts in a secure environment be handled?

All classified contracts executed in a secure environment will be accomplished in accordance with appropriate statutes, regulations, and procedures, including those set forth in this regulation. (paragraph 3)

When is full and open competition required for secure environment contracts?

Full and open competition will be obtained in accordance with 10 USC 2304, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6 (FAR 6). (paragraph 3)

How are Freedom of Information Act requests for secure environment contracts processed?

All SEC Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests will be processed through a cleared and indoctrinated FOIA officer who has been designated to handle such requests.

What security review is required before information is released?

An appropriate security review must be completed for any information proposed for release prior to the rendering of a release determination.

How must classified contract documents be destroyed at closeout?

Contract documents shall be destroyed in accordance with approved secure procedures; for example, burn bag, secure shredder, and designated SAP shredder for that specific program only. (paragraph 9)
