What form is used to obtain personal clothing?
The DA Form 3078 will be the only document used to obtain personal clothing items for RA enlisted Soldiers, Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), individual mobilization augmentee (IMA), USAR enlisted Soldiers attending IET, and ARNG enlisted Soldiers attending IET. (paragraph 5-1)
How old can a DA Form 3078 be when it is submitted?
The CIIP or AMCS will not accept an improperly prepared DA Form 3078, and it will not accept any form dated more than 30 days old. (paragraph 5-1)
How often must commanders inspect personal clothing?
Commanders will conduct inspections of personal clothing at least once annually to ensure that all items are on hand and serviceable. (paragraph 15-8)
What happens when initial clothing allowances are short after assignment?
Shortages in initial allowances must be obtained within 15 days after assignment. (paragraph 11-2)
