AR 612-201 establishes support principles, service standards, tasks, rules, and processing steps. It covers reception battalion operations, training assignments, records, mobilization, ESL training, and rehabilitation processing.
Applies to: Mobilization processing is applicable to those categories of enlisted personnel that will process through RECBN during mobilization.
The RECBN commanders will ensure that all essential processing will be completed within 3 workdays following arrival. (paragraph 2-3)
Soldiers who are receiving disability pensions or compensation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for any reason are required to waive such pensions or compensation at the time of entry on AD. (paragraph 2-3)
No one will dispose of any records sent by an ARNGUS or USAR unit. (paragraph 1-04)
The IMT Soldiers are not eligible to submit a DA Form 4187 requesting assignments to specific CONUS or overseas locations. (paragraph 5-2)
Soldiers will be transferred to the WTRP within 5 days of the unit receiving the WTRP recommendation unless disapproved by the company or FTU commander. (paragraph 8-5)
