AR 525-93 addresses deployment readiness exercises, the Command Deployment Discipline Program, and the Deployment Excellence Award Program. It requires annual readiness exercises for specified units, establishes deployment discipline requirements, and sets responsibilities for award administration.
At a minimum modified table of organization and equipment (MTOE) Regular Army UIC (operational forces) and deployable table of distribution and allowances units will conduct one Level I and Level II DRE annually. (paragraph 2-3)
